How attorneys pay us

Our arrangement with every advertising attorney is the same: a fixed amount, agreed before any inquiry is sent, for each inquiry delivered. We are paid the same amount whether the attorney is hired or not, whether the case is won or lost, and regardless of what the attorney charges the client. We never take a percentage of a legal fee and we never accept payment that is contingent on a case outcome.

This is not a stylistic choice. Sharing legal fees with a non-lawyer is prohibited under the rules of professional conduct adopted in every U.S. jurisdiction, and a marketing structure that takes a cut of the fee is fee splitting whatever it is called. A flat per-inquiry advertising fee is permitted under Rule 7.2 of the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct and its state analogues.

No ranking, no endorsement

We do not rank, score, grade, certify or endorse any attorney. We do not verify an attorney’s competence, disciplinary history or results, and the order in which any attorney appears is not a statement about quality. Being listed on this site is not a recommendation by this site.
